Disabled Photographers’ Society
DPS is a registered charity, formed in 1968 to champion making photography accessible to those with disabilities. Today, the society continues to grow, supporting disabled members across the country with adaptations and innovations that break down barriers and create more inclusive spaces for photographers.

Just One Tree
If each premium ticket sold we will plant one tree, helping to restore the natural environment that we as photographers take for granted. The tree absorbs CO2, restores biodiversity and makes the world a better place. Together we grow forests. We regenerate oceans. We educate current and future generations around the world.

FUJIFILM
Fujifilm has been at the heart of photography since 1934 - a legacy that speaks for itself. My own journey with the brand began in the 1980s with a Fujica AX-1 35mm film camera, my first proper camera and the one that sparked a lifelong passion. Ever since, Fujifilm has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation, producing extraordinary cameras that often challenge our very idea of what modern photography can be.
We are delighted to share that Fujifilm has generously offered the use of their House of Photography in Covent Garden as the venue for both our launch and closing party, along with a dedicated support space available during the afternoon and morning of the event. We are truly grateful for their support and enthusiasm in making this possible.
To top it all off, Fujifilm have kindly donated a Fujifilm camera as our top prize - a wonderful addition to what promises to be a very special event.

And unlike many competitors, it's a one-off purchase — no subscription required. The range also includes PureRAW, Nik Collection, FilmPack, and ViewPoint, covering everything from creative film emulation to geometric correction.
We are hugely grateful to DxO for their generous support of Photo24. They are donating free software licences to competition winners and exclusive discount codes to all Premium ticket holders.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Photo24?
Photo24 is an annual 24-hour photography marathon held in London, welcoming photographers of all abilities to capture iconic locations and develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The event features guided photo walks, competitions, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow photography enthusiasts, with a focus on documenting London’s landmarks from daylight through to darkness.
Running from midday on Saturday 20th June to midday on Sunday 21st June 2026, the event spans a full 24 hours.
Do I need to attend for the full 24 hours?
Not at all. You’re welcome to drop in and out, shooting during the hours that suit you best. Most participants book a hotel nearby, allowing them to photograph late into the night, rest for a few hours, and then head out again for sunrise. We’ll encourage everyone to shoot for as many hours as they can manage, with regular challenges, organised photo walks, and events running throughout the 24-hour period.
Whats the background to Photo24?
Photo24 was created in 2013 by photography journalist Will Cheung during his tenure as editor of Advanced Photographer magazine. When Advanced Photographer ceased publication, Photography News took over the event and helped it grow, attracting over 250 participants and securing sponsorships from brands including Nikon, Fujifilm, and MPB.
Around three years ago, the sponsorships ended and Photography News withdrew from the event. Will continued organizing Photo24 independently as informal gatherings for several more years. In 2025, when Will announced he would be stepping down, I approached Photography News about taking over the organization to ensure Photo24 wouldn’t disappear. They agreed to transfer the event to me, and Photography News will no longer be involved going forward.
Photo24 used to be free. Now there is a £10 fee
We wanted to use the event to raise money for good. So we partnered with the Disabled Photographers Society and Just One Tree.
The £10 fee gives you access to the Fuji hub during the event, so meet, rest and safely store kit. Enter the competiions and attend the photo walks.
However we want to maitain the spirit of a free event, so if you don't wish to help our nominated charity then you can attend for free, you just cannot use the Fuji hub, enter the competitions, nor attend the photo walks. But you can attend the launch and closing meetup at the Fuji Hub.
Do I need expensive camera kit to attend?
Most certainly not. The desire to learn and take better photos is the driving force rather than your equipment. Whether you shoot on film, a SLR, DSLR, mirrorless, compact, hybrid camera or a phone camera… All are welcome.
The photo24 Team

Steve Gosling
Creative Photo Adventures
A veteran of Photo24 for many years, Steve founded Creative Photo Adventures 12 years ago, organising photography workshops and tours all around the world. He enjoys the unusual blend of architectural, landscape, urbex and dance photography.

Martin Hajdukiewicz
Thumbs-up Photography
His woodland photography is his attempt to prove that even the most socially awkward tree enthusiast can create art. He's frequently lost in the woods, but the resulting photos are, objectively, quite good. He is, however, aware that he resembles a woodland gnome.

Dave Peck
Thumbs-up photography
Youtube's own landscape artist, with a side of 'apples and pears' that's more like bruised bananas. Prepare for stunning scenery and a strong dose of misplaced cockney.
Over the weekend we are supported by Sarah Toon and Doug Stratton
Everyone is working on this event as a volunteer and putting in many many hours. Please support them by giving us a follow on Facebook on the f links above
